No, no. It's not the fact that you have it in your vocabulary. It's the fact that you have it in your vocabulary and you FAIL TO SEE WHY SOME PEOPLE MIGHT TAKE OFFENSE TO IT. Is "faggot" in your vocab? "Nigger"?

And yes, I'm very butthurt. Very butthurt indeed that you keep on calling yourself intelligent, but you have ZERO intellectual arguments justifying your use of the word "retarded". Yes, I'm biased about the issue, but I'm willing to have an intelligent conversation about it. If you're up to the challenge.

I can see why people would take offense to it, but they should shift their perspective, not me. I just did a quick urban dictionary search for "retarded", and many definitions had it as a POSITIVE thing. It's worked its way into this generation's slang, and it's not going anywhere. So, I personally don't have a problem using it.

Alright, but retarded actually DOES mean stupid. Using it as slang has not changed the meaning. What's wrong with using it for what it means?

mental retardation is a medical diagnosis. please refer to the DSM-IV:
