How the hell is an Us Vs. Them mentality going to help anyone? Look at the majority of the men in this thread, they aren't condescending ("mansplaining" is a horrible word and I won't use it), they aren't doing anything wrong and apparently their only crime is wanting to be treated with respect. Is that really so hard when they're giving the same courtesy to a cause that everybody needs to fight?

Um, the men in this thread are derailing from the real issue because OMG they have a harder time finding homeless shelters!!1! If these men are having trouble accepting that they need to listen to women and our experience regarding sexism and misogyny, then they aren't feminists. At all. Men control our lives, and all men are sexist. For once, they can let us dominate the discussion about our oppression. If they can't accept that it's not about them then they aren't giving our cause any courtesy.

Not counting anons, this thread has been female-dominated. Seeing as 90% of FS is female, most of those anons are probably female too.

I see one thread with eleusis_walks derailing about gay men, and that's it. The rest is on topic. Where is this massive male derailing going on?
