8. I think it's unfair to say they wouldn't listen. Some may not, true-- but the person who made those icons is actually a friend of mine, and knowing her, she'd probably listen 100% and put credit up if asked to. No, I'm not defending just her, I think it's narrow minded to assume all those who use fanart in icons won't listen to a word others say about giving proper credit.

Then again, lol icon drama.

I totally agree with you. I know the icon maker, and she's a total sweetheart :( ♥

I'm sure if you brought it up to her, she'd be more than happy to give you a link.

Otherwise... STFU and stop bitching. You either do something or you don't, end of story.

IAWTC. The icon maker is such a nice and understanding person.

If she's such a saint, why didn't she do the right thing and put up credit without having to be asked -- let alone oh, I dunno, actually asking the original artist for permission?

Hi. I sent her the art. Though as someone sent ME the art, I have no idea where it came from specifically either.

So, I have some steps for you.

1. Take the stick out of your ass. It'll be more comfortable as you sit on it at your computer and make serious business out of the internet.
2. Not everything is so easy/black & white. Since neither of us know where it came from, we can't say 'icon art found -> here.' I usually try to, but sometimes it's not possible, like in this case. Not to mention, if I find fanart on my own, it's usually from 4chan. So if you want 'justice,' go take it up with them. See how long that lasts.
3. Why don't you stop bitching and just help? If you know how to speak Japanese, write us up a polite letter so we can ask. If you don't, then screw off - if you can't fix it either, then you have NO RIGHT whining anonymously about it.
