Are you watching the same show I am? Because Batista isn't at all perfect(Note: one of the reasons that Dexter is an awesome show is the lack of "perfect" characters). He's essentially been shown to be an alcoholic, or at least highly dependent on alcohol to deal with the world. Just a few episodes ago he harassed LaGuerta for not sharing her retirement savings account with him after they got married last season. Not trying to start wank, because I find him an interesting character, but he pushes my squick button almost as hard as Quinn, and I certainly wouldn't call him perfect.

He's amazing! But I love the show for all the characters. Dexter, Deb, and Quinn especially. Batista is sweet, but he has his issues... I just wish him and LaGuerta didn't get into conflict so much. :| I like them together but not when they're fighting all the time!
