I'm really annoyed about the sudden influx of "It's a personal attack, you guyz!" that this place seems to be experiencing. Maybe it's been around for a while and I just haven't noticed, but really? Any secret that isn't all fluff and happiness (things which don't really need to be secrets, usually) or a matter of personal preference is a secret that's attacking someone. JFC.

Jfc, this. If I make a secret about your fic saying how I hate wangsty self-insert mary sue fic and post it, it sure as hell isn't anything against you personally. I don't know the authors of 99% of the fic I read, that doesn't mean I can't hate their fic.

Anybody that takes 'I hate your fic' or 'fics like your fic' as a personal insult needs to check their perspective.
