Oh god OP I don't feel that way about him but I do think he's entertaining and I really feel bad for him sometimes. I like Ricky as an actor but I wouldn't want to be his friend. I listened to his audio commentary on Ghost Town and he and I would not get along.

Seriously though he is a really funny British comedian (well, arguably a comedian). He's not that old and most of his persona revolves around the fact that he looks and talks like an idiot, so... welp. I guess you are American and expect everyone on TV to look like glamour models :V
