It's this thing called an example, especially of the typical bullshit here in F!S. It's one of the points of the secret. Perhaps you should go reread, you clearly have a comprehension issue.

You're saying people who gather together in their spare time and collectively circle-jerk over fanfics, especially well-written fanfics, in this one case, just got jealous because the fic was OMG TOO GOOD!!! They couldn't HANDLE~ how good it was, so they just flipped out and ripped it to shreds. Sorry, your point is just so stupid and required a lot of leaps of logic that only someone personally involved in the situation (or a situation like this that they were projecting on) would go, it took a while to figure out the point you were trying to make.

Could you be any stupider? The secret is about how this large comm circle-jerks over what is probably bad fanfic and then doesn't like the OP's fanfic of their own work. Also, their collective personality sounds deplorable.

I find it extremely hard to believe that an entire comm would jump on a well-written fanfic for being OOC. I can definitely see people ignoring really good fic for bad fic of their favorite pairing, but attacking it? I don't think so.

There are definitely communities on the internet where this happens. I wouldn't be in the least surprised.
