I post prompts specifically so I can fill them myself, and I always leave a few days so people don't suspect that I'm filling them myself. This is both to widen the audience and to remove a lot of the responsibility of having something be your idea. As a result, I always get super annoyed when I put up a prompt and I come back to find it filled with crap that took someone like twenty minutes to write.

My situation is no doubt different from the OP's, but seriously, crap writing is crap writing and of course everyone wants something better for their fill.

Actually no, some of us are just thankful for the fill. "Hey, this isn't very good, but thanks for trying" is usually where I feel if I leave a prompt and aren't particularly impressed with the writing, because it's still 20 minutes of somebody else's time that they took to write for me.

Really? I'm so sorry. Even if someone's writing isn't great, the fact that they took the time to try and write for me is what counts. Like when you try to cook someone dinner and you burn the roast, haha. The important thing is that you made the effort and took the time to do something nice.

DA - Yeah, this.

I can't stand the entitlement attitude that some prompters exhibit. Even if it's a 20 minute fic, hey, that's still 20 minutes out of someone's life that they didn't have to devote to trying to divine your private list of wants and desires. And most memes allow multiple fills, so it's not like a fill from a bad writer precludes a second fill from a good one.

So your thing is writing random prompts you know no one else will fill or fill properly just so that you can swoop in and fill them. Okay, sounds like a lot of fucked-upness to me.
