.... I've never encountered anyone who states themselves as having AS, and little be it for me to judge if people speak the truth. But I have to admit to be offended more than once by people compiling a list of bullet points or somesuch on their LJ's and subsequently proclaiming 'Man, I'm so OCD!'

Okay, offended is far too strong a word. But I know someone who's life was... sort of shattered somewhat by her OCD. It took her out of college for over a year, set back her university plans, left her unable to leave her own house for months, and-- hahah, I don't know, now I sound finicky. Just. Yeah, people should try to understand the disorders they often believe they have, unless they plan to incur the wrath of those who have been affected, you know?
