#8- I agree with you, but at the same time I don't.

I mean, people look at the world different ways, y'know? Frankly, I think reality could use a Goku or a Peter Petrelli or a Superman. Someone that can actually make big impact. Because humans, ESPECIALLY teenage humans, can't do much.

But then, you save three lives with every pint of blood you donate. A kind word could make someone's day. A little bit of attention might show someone that they aren't alone, and make their life easier to deal with.

So we CAN be heroes. Just, not heroes with the awesome super powers like in stories.

;3 Next time you're at the McDonald's drive-thru, pay for the order of the person behind you. Make their day.

...although being able to fly would be kickass, too.

Yes. This comment is right.

I try to make the people I come in contact with everyday happy. It's not hard to do. When I talk, I smile. So many people make simple kindness sound like hard work! I can't stand people who slouch around moping and acting like someone just ran over their dog. Unless, you know, someone did (get it a lot at my job). What's the point? If they don't have a good reason to be otherwise, they should act pleasantly.

If there was somewhere out there which NEEDED the whole band of heroes thing, I'd be up for it. I'd love to be a part of that rag-tag group which saves the world! But would I wish the sort of destruction and suffering which would be a part of that upon anyone? No.

Always put your pennies/cents in the donation tins at tills.Smile at the girl in the street.
Show thanks when someone stops their car to let you cross the road.

Doesn't make you a hero by all standards, but it makes you a better person.

Oh, I agree with this fucking comment.

Have a net cookie.

I agree with this so much.

Although, I was also given the striking need to listen to David Bowie's Heroes when I read this post too.
