So you're saying that every fantasy world is already decided and totalitarian? They're just closer to good vs evil and more simple than this one.

Fight for art? What is art? Fight for love? What if it's between two people that you know and you KNOW it's going to wreck their lives?

What we're saying is, say, for example (since it came up in conversation with someone else): there's a cancer demon. Someone kills it, disease is cured, hurrah hurrah. That doesn't mean we're going to go around kicking cancer patients and it doesn't mean we're just going to ignore the problem, it just means we wish there's something that we could do directly to help. Do you kind of see it now?
