I'm going to ignore that implication about slash lovers (which was probably just unfortunate wording) and say that being insecure about one's looks is something a lot of people experience. You're not alone, and I hope you get over it. Life is too fucking short to be caught up in something like that. Unfortunately, learning to love and appreciate your body is one of those "It's simple, but not easy" things, so it's going to be up to you and it might take some time, but stay positive! A bunch of us were there and we got through it. I wish you the best!
