17. The voice isn't too bad for Ed. The guy's apparently an asshole, but I've personally never cared about what they were like beyond the character so long as they were decent actors. I thought he was a decent actor...

*dies* No worries. I misspell it sometimes, too. It's actually fairly easy to say. Exactly how it looks! Benighted fate! Bee-night-ed! :D I was wanting just "benighted" but that one was taken when I joined LJ, so I tacked fate on there because that's all that I could come up with in the two seconds that my attention span lasted.

I keep skipping over the -ht part and my brain fills it in with "benign" instead of "benight". D: Even now that I know it's Benightedfate I still read it often as Benignedfate.

Before I noticed it wasn't, I'd always interpreted it to mean something like "don't be afraid of the future" or "the future is friendly" (to take a slogan from some commerical you've probably never seen) because benign=harmless and fate=future and whatnot. I don't know where I was going with that, but I'm an anonymous so it doesn't matter if I ramble. :D

#17 - I could ignore the dodgy dub job, but when I starting seeing some of the con vids and oh god, the singing it has really made it impossible for me to watch the dub for whatever reason without cringing in horror. He's just a very creepy man.

17. I hate the FMA dub in general. :/ A lot of people I know love it, but... I dunno, I'm not even one of those "JAPANESEISBETTERAUTOMATICALLY" people (I <3333333 the Bebop dub) but... yeah. D: It literally makes me cringe at points. T_T SO PAINFUL.

Besides, I'm in love with Keiji Fujiwara's voice UNF UNF UNF And I don't even usually lust after seiyuus. >_>

AGREED!

Oh yes and he's ruining Tamaki and Fai as well. Well Fai was the leading reason with why I dislike him so much, and such pompus statements as "If there is one thing that me and Fai both share, it's that he's straight". If only he knew that CLAMP was a bunch of fangirls. Or rather he does with all the mail that several people in the Clamp fandom have been sending him.

I'm so glad I'm not in that situation. The big important main character dub VA in my canon cheerfully ships his character with his character's best friend. He claims they constantly joke about it in recording sessions (SOMEONE FROM OUR FANDOM MUST GET HOLD OF THOSE TAPES) and he claims he plays his character 'gay for [the other character]'.

Phew, anonymising fandom algebra. Makes my head hurt.

Anyway, I feel horrible that not all VAs can be as cool as _____.
