Uh huh, and when that happens in a fic, the author discovers time travel, goes back in time to when the canon was being created, gets herself hired as main director for the game, and changes the whole thing to make their fic canon. Every time.

FWIW I agree that this pairing isn't canon, but you're agreeing with a crazy person, there.

You should probably stay away from most fandoms then, if dubious reasons for shipping characters upsets you so much.

...I come from a fandom that has a canon slash ship involving a married guy, and I am very confused.

I always find this 'proof' amusing, because Cid's response for that was 'Zzzzzzzzzzzz'. Yeah, he had already fallen asleep in his chair.

I already pointed this out, but the party travels in groups -hence the PHS- and stays at inns in groups. If you look at EVERY inn in the game, you realize every room has three beds. So they shared rooms ALL the time. If you tell me you do believe they have sex because they share a room, then I'll laugh hard at how naive you are.

Oops. Did I say they were having sex?

For your benefit, I shall repeat my comment. I do NOT personally ship the pair. But I can see where the ship stems from.

FFVII is such a cracky game. People tend to forget that. Stop treating the shipping like it's srs bsns. ;)

Vincent is Cid's outlet for his manlier urges. When they go out, he gets black tea, just to prove that he can handle the stronger stuff. He doesn't even put milk in it, that's how manly he is.

I love the possibility that Cid's idea of "a few cold ones" is a few cups of tea. XD

I like a well-written VinCid. Granted, I do like a plausible explanation for why Shera isn't around and I like me some Cid/Shera just as much. I'm flexible. So should we all be, really.
