I dislike Britta so much. All the characters are quirky and funny but she's just so boring and she bring none of the things the writers tells us she does. She's not the heart of the group or the brains or the sane man! She's just there being boring and trying to have UST with Jeff. But... Community wouldn't be the same without Britta. I guess.

I watch it, and then when I go back to Glee it's like, "Man, I wish they could all be together and talk and stuff like in Community." I can't stand Pierce myself, but after the LIGHTNING ROD episode, I saw his use.

Shirley is an amazing contrast to Annie and Britta. Sometimes, I feel like Annie and Britta are so similar (same wants sometimes, different objectives), I'd probably hate them if it weren't for Shirley. And Shirley is just so awesome.

So, yeah, I stan for EVERYONE. Except Chang. He can go, and we can get more from Dean Pelton.

Shirley doesn't really have a chance to add to the show too often, that's not really her fault, she doesn't get a lot of screentime, which I hope changes. But as much as Pierce annoys me sometimes, the show wouldn't be the same without him. Without any of them really.

One of my favorite episodes is where Jeff and Shirley bond over gossiping.

And then I love the bathroom scene where Shirley and Britta talk about being too hard.

Frankly anon I think you're missing a lot of the show if these feel like empty, removable moments to you.

Really? You're watching a show with one of the funniest ensemble casts in recent history, and that's your reaction? Really?

I mean, I know this is subjective, but Britta is frequently one of the funniest characters to me. C'mon, her dork-out over the Senhor Chang hat in Science Of Illusion? Her face when Vaughn sings Getting Rid Of Britta? That lolarious gross-out kiss with Jeff in Anthropology? Rowboat Cop?

The same goes for Pierce and Shirley. I think the physical comedy Chevy Chase pulls off in that wheelchair (and, you know, overall) is incredible. Also, Spanish 101? The Greendale Song? Batman And Shaft? And Shirley is the driving force behind some of my favourite episodes, like Comparative Religion and Messianic Myths And Ancient Peoples. Also she can put your face through a jukebox and hose your office.

I probably shouldn't get all NERDRAEG! on this but I really don't get this attitude. I love me some Jeff, Troy, Annie and Abed, but really. Seriously.

I thought one of the big points of the show was that all of the main characters are inherently unlikeable, but we love them anyways. Jeff's a self assured douche, Britta's a hypocrite, Annie's that annoyingly intense over-achiever, Troy's dense and vain, Abed's socially retarded, Pierce is jaw-droppingly ignorant, and Shirley's obnoxiously religious and a gossip. Half the fun of the show is seeing where they all start and watching their characters develop away from these frustrating traits into more well rounded people. It makes me sad that you can forgive half of the study group for their flaw, but not the other.
