Without Ross, Panic will never be as good as it was whether you're talking about their first OR second album. This is not to say they will be bad now that he's gone. Just not as good.

I think Vices & Virtues is going to be terrific, New Perspective is. But Ryan Ross is talented and is very much responsible for a lot that was awesome on AFYCSO. Sadly, he fell in with a shitty crowd (Greenwald, Walker, etc) and lost his way. Hopefully now that The Young Veins are 'on a break' Ryan will get his shit together and go back to his real band.
