While I think they are all decent singers, I just don't care about the music. I enjoy the other story lines. I could do without the music. If I'm missing the big point, oh well.

And I don't give a shit about guest actors or themes either. Just give me the original cast and that's it.

I kinda agree, to an extent. If they're doing a song I like or I turn out to like the song because of them, then I'll enjoy that music. But mushy things about feelings or being empowered or things only tangentially related to the plot usually bore me.

I relate with this secret a little. But not because of their voices, I think some of them have potencial, but because of the songs :/ . I'm not that much into pop culture, and the music I listen is way over the other side of the spectrum so , I don't jizz in my pants every time a music preview comes out, and certainly I haven't downloaded any song. I think I'm doing it wrong too Lol.
The truth is that the only thing that keeps me watching the show is the lovely cast, because I can't say I enjoy the plots either at this point.

I only ever watched a few episodes, but every time they started singing I would almost unconsciously reach for my iPod and start reading a book or a website until they were done. The singing is pretty bad and noticeably autotuned, and honestly the choreography and costuming isn't THAT great either.

Same here, sort of. I like it enough in show, but the only song I've actually liked to listen to on it's own in "Teenage Dream". I think I would've liked almost any male cover of the song, though. I bought the first season soundtracks, but since I never listen to them I haven't bought any since. Mostly it is because they don't do a lot of songs I like, or they do songs that I'm super into and can't listen to covers of (like every Madonna song or "Dog Days are Over".)

I do the same thing, I just can't stand it when they sing and I hate the way the songs are arranged.

Me too. I can only watch Rachel twirl around the piano singing her w's like "HWAYEE" and listen to Finn's bland boy band voice so many times before it just gets boring.

Most of all, though, it's just really awkward for me to watch those scenes. Maybe it's the weird faces everyone pulls when they sing, or just an odd kind of secondhand embarrassment...but on the rare occasions I do listen to the songs I have to look elsewhere.

I only watch it taped because then I can fastforward the song. I only see Rachel open her bloody mouth and I am like "ok, now the autotuned yelling's gonna start". I hate the voices of certain characters. I don't get why they get most of the songs.

I actually quite like the voices of the actors, but I tune out or read something else almost every time they sing. It's like, I wouldn't normally listen to music without multitasking (like driving or painting my nails or whatever) and even Glee!music can't hold my attention that strongly. That said, there's been a few - the cover of Poker Face, Quinn and Sam's Lucky, Tina and Mike Chang's duet, etc. - that I've gone back and re-watched because i've loved them.
