Anon, you sound like me. I am terrified of birds but I would be a better Ravenclaw than a Slytherin, which I wanted to be my house if I went to Hogwarts.

I think it was an eagle in the books but changed to a raven for the films. Or vice versa.

Ravenclaw reprazent! I think I might have ended up in Hufflepuff when I was Sorting age, actually, but now I'm older I'm definitely Ravenclaw. They do sort too young!

I've always felt that I'd be a Ravenclaw. In fact, it disappointed me terribly that we had to wait for Luna for a main Ravenclaw character. XD

This used to bug me when I was much younger. I'm not particularly ambitious, not that clever, pretty lazy, and too casual to be brave about anything.

And then I realised that I'm not on the right side of the world for this to be an issue. I'd end up in a Canadian public wizarding school. No houses for me.

I can understand that, I think very few people fit into only one house, and fit that house exactly, so you could be a Slytherin with strong Ravenclaw traits or a Ravenclaw with strong Slytherin traits. that being said, Yay fellow Ravenclaw-ish person!

Aw, 'salright, OP. Not like there was ever a scene where "okay, Gryffindor kiddies, time to pet the lion!"

When I was eleven, I thought of myself as a Ravenclaw, but now that I'm older I realize pretty Hufflepuff - one actually needs to make friends to notice tendencies toward loyalty. Wonder how much the Sorting Hat would pick up on that, though.

...but how would you deal with getting mail?
