Nudity has everything to do with deliberate--and sometimes exploitative--fanservice, and it's very common. It's still the writer including something to titillate the audience which has no purpose to the story, and when it becomes gratuitous, objectifying.

Also, female characters acting gay to appeal to a male audience is pretty common in both anime/manga and Western television. The faux lesbian kiss is a pretty common ratings baiting tactic during sweeps.

You have every right not to like things like that, to be bothered by them, whatever. I do wonder where you draw the line of "yaoi under tones," though, and the way you phrase your secret both singles out ONE PARTICULAR KIND OF FANSERVICE in a particularly loaded way, and comes off as dicky and judgmental toward both the author and the people who enjoy those works
