Like I posted down thread, I'm one of two female officers of the video game club, and while there is this ONE creeper who doesn't bathe, doesn't know the meaning of personal space, and really wants in my pants, the rest of the 20+ male members that show up (not all at once, but you know, we're a pretty lax club so it's not like members have to attend every meeting/event) are perfectly and completely normal. Guys who fit that creeper stereotype are definitely the exception, not the rule.

no, i hear you, that really is an issue. women often have to just stick to their friends if they don't want to be harassed, either sexually or durr hurr a woman gtfo.

it can be bad irl too (not AS bad usually, but still). i mean, face it, there may be more women getting into gaming but it's still largely male-dominated, and not just in numbers. i don't see why it's scandalous for the op to just want to hang out with other women now and then and not have to think about it so much.
