I can see your argument there, although I honestly think he tried to satisfy his father. It could be played either way, though. If he *is* a sociopath, he might have attempted to appease him as, you said, part of an act and then decided it wasn't worth it.

Are you on the forum? http://despicablemeforum.proboards.com/index.cgi I've RPed some Vector there, but it kind of just stopped altogether. I think all of the main characters there are taken, though, assuming the RP will ever continue. But if you're not on the forum, join us! It's pretty active.

Saw the movie last weekend, adored it. And immediately wondered just how hard it would be to role play a minion. I love those little guys. I think the mix of languages used to create the proper dialog would screw with me, though.

And unfortunately, I have a feeling that if I ever chose a character from that cast to play? It...would probably be Gru. Mostly because he'd be the easiest for me to handle and keep IC.

But man. Best of luck to you in finding more castmates. I've got an active RP character who's got no castmates in the game where I play. Hell, I don't think anyone on LJ plays from the series except me! So I know your pain. :(

I am terrible at getting into fandoms with actual fandoms. Hitman, Deadwood, Inspector Gadget, Despicable Me, The Iron Giant, Jurassic Park, Silence of the Lambs/Hannibal/Red Dragon/Hannibal Rising, Wimbledon, Inkeart. lol.
