I kind of feel bad for saying this, but your lack of command of English is ADORABLE.

Also, yeah, people do weird selfish things, it's the human condition, I guess? They probably don't really 'notice' that they're doing anything wrong.

This happened in one of my old fandoms. It was basically one big circle jerk.

My fandom is like this. It's gotten so bad that no one's participating in the fandom-wide fic-exchanges anymore except for the central circle jerk.

Recently I joined a smaller spin-off fandom. It's nice because there's no pretension. We don't "rec" each other or do fic exchanges; we don't run a fandom newsletter. In other words, there's no central, consolidated power base. We did a holiday fic drive, and it was fantastic because people just contributed what they wanted. It seriously reminds me of what fandom used to be like in the old days. Our corner of fandom doesn't get a smidgen of attention from BNFs, and I hope it stays that way!

I don't know which fandom you are in but in HP slash fandom this is the exact case. How interesting that the stories getting the most reviews are gifts for people who are well-known...
