right now, nowhere, that's why I said I was absent from fandom...I used to be on the HP section of ff.net a good deal and would go to fansites, but then I got into a couple of anime series that kind of took over my brain and I stopped looking at HP stuff (also, partly this was because I was so tired of seeing nothing nothing nothing but Harry/Draco, Marauderhshipping and Harry/Hermione...) buuuutttt...methinks that if stuff like this is appearing in fandom I shall have to come back xD

Oh, well that makes sense then. It's not appearing, exactly, (what's "appearing" in the HP fandom is really just violent hatred towards the Deathly Hallows, Ginny, JKR, and everything) I'm just very focused on fannish things that have to do with the "sextet"-Harry, Ron, Hermione, Neville, Luna and Ginny. I mention Ron/Luna outside of fictionalley and sometimes get understanding, other times get "o.O", so yeah.

It's funny that you mentioned three things that I've never been able to get into- Harry/Draco and Harry/Hermione I don't hate with a passion, I just don't see, and I don't really care too much about the Maurauder's ever.

I always hated Harry/Draco, Harry/Hermione never made sense to me and although I went through a phase where I was pretty into the Marauders I never shipped any of them together, so it was just so boring because what I wanted at that point was fun fics about them getting up to adventures or that focused on their friendship, and all I got was slashslashslash, which is all very well but I just couldn't s see it...I always felt that most of the main cast didn't really have many facets to their personalities and that they were, not boring exactly, but kind of bland. Whereas a lot of the more minor characters I felt had more potential for interest because they had more sides to them which weren't all spread out at once. Neville is my absolute favorite and has been ever since I read the first book when I was 13, and Luna comes in second...Sometimes I think that it would be really sweet if they lived all their lives in a kind of platonic love relationship, being the closest and most important person in each other's lives but never dating or marrying (or sexing), like "If I was ever to marry anyone it would be you, but I'm happy just to be together like we are."

Neville is my favorite and Luna my second favorite too, so yay :) and that would be really cute..... However, I am kind of a freak and ship Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione and Neville/Hermione (the least possible "sextet" group of ships there is, I'm afraid). But I think that Neville, Luna and Ginny were best friends and if H/G and R/Hr were to happen, I could see Neville and Luna having a relationship like that.

I don't really care enough about the main three to worry myself about who they are with lol. I do think that the friendship trio of Neville, Luna and Ginny was seriously awesome and definitely deserved more attention, though the format of the books, being basically a first-person perspective through Harry's eyes, couldn't really do that. I'd even go so far as to say that the relationship I depicted for Neville and Luna, being essentially platonic, could extend to include Ginny as well, though in that case I probably wouldn't pair her with anyone (could get some interesting reactions from the love interest in that case though I guess.) I like relationships with unconventional dynamics =) *is starting to be filled with fic ideas*
