I don't know about that... have you listened to the radio lately? The last half of 2010 in particular had some great songs. I have an hour's drive to university every day so I listen to the radio to and I was genuinely surprised that so many of the songs, while not all great, were a step above most of the shitty pop and generic rap that's been played for, hell, most of the 2000s decade.
