If you're talking about Zarla, then I fully agree. This might sound shallow but for some reason I really dislike her. Well, not so much her, but her fanbase who seems to worship her for nothing; her art is terrible and her humor is weak yet she still gets her ass licked.
Maybe I'm not getting it but oh well.

i was the one who made the secret about how it made my homophobic dad more open to the idea of gay marriage. i've heard some criticism from the lgbt community about it being too heteronormative and such but i think this movie is lovely.

You should try and make an effort to reconnect, especially if this friend is important to you. You never know if s/he's missing you back. I've found that a lot of my fandom friends have similar RL views on politics, relationships, and a number of other things. You never know what things other than fandom you might have in common until you talk about it.

My only nitpick with this is that Hyde was in love with Jackie, but he was never whipped and didn't lose his badassery, and he probably wouldn't have even had a Facebook to post sappy statuses on because the government probably would use it to spy on him. :I
