The 'squicks me out' thing is a little confusing, if you're a woman. I you're a man, there could be all sorts of reasons.

Hrm, I forgot the 'f' in the second 'if'.

A lot of men get squicked by male/male pairings. My dad, for example, is an advocate of equality when it comes to gay rights, but he still gets squicked at the thought of men kissing, having sex etc.

Okay. Then what caught me is how whether you intended it or not, your comment basically assumed OP was heterosexual (and was just heteronormative in general) but the OP didn't state their gender or sexuality.

Actually I didn't assume he/she was gay or straight. I'm gay, that's why I mentioned the whole 'fade to black' thing when it comes to m/m sex scenes.

In relation to M/M squicking them out, yes. You are implying that she's a woman and shouldn't be squicked out by men going at it. (Which, some lesbians I've met aren't squicked out by m/m slash pairings and the sex involved, but I'm sure equally as many are.)

Not trying to attack you, just pointing out the wording. I really assume it's a mistake unless proven otherwise.

As I said in reply to another comment, it was regarding the relationship aspect, not the sex.

Not OP (and I like het and femslash equally), buuut I'm a woman who is kinda squicked by two men doing it. Every other aspect of slash is a-okay, but I just want nothing to do with guys getting it on. Though the point is pretty much moot since I don't ship any slash pairings anyway.

And, yet, it doesn't make sense to me either - het and femslash smut doesn't bother me (though I do mostly skip it - smut is too repetitive, for the most part) so... yeah.

Bi, and, no, I have no problems with penises. My straight female friends are actually the ones to go ewwww and giggle at male genitalia and I'm just like oookay it's not that gross/funny guys - plus, wow, we're in our twenties stop acting like idiot teenagers whoa. Like I said, I don't get it - there is no logical reason for me not to like slash.
