I <3 Yuuri because, even though I know he's not the character in this demotivational poster (http://canitbesaturdaynow.com/images/fpics/1143/r_5_28_09-%2813%29.jpg), I can easily imagine him being so, but lol.

I love Yuuri too, he's awesome and very sweet, but he doesn't strike me as nuanced and the only reason everyone is falling all over him is because he's the promised saviour, because he's got black hair and eyes.

Haruhi is a much more interesting character objectively.

AND that poster, lolol. Those damn dinosaurs!!

It's helpful that, whomever that character is, he certainly looks a lot like Yuuri when he gets into his big ethical speeches based on the morality system he presumably picked up around kindergarten.
