You can think of him as a hero for what he did with cables, but you also be upset that he's come out and said the Sweden "is the Saudi Arabia of Feminism", that his plight is the same as Anti-Semetism, and that he's complained about HIS privacy, but been supportive of his accusers being called 'honeypots' and other derogatory names, along with their personal information posted.

If you think he's a hero and excuse the above behavior, yeah, you kinda DO fail as a feminist.

Rapist or not, I think we can all agree the guy is a creep.

I, honestly, don't get the whole "OMG! He's a hero" bit for doing the Wikileaks. Sure, he has revealed some dirt on the back deals of some governments but he has also revealed a ton of humiliating information that no one really needed to know. (Did we really needed to know that the PM of Italy is a afraid of Bono? How does that information help anyone? It only makes Berlusconi look like a fool.) He has also threatened to release the credit card numbers of all the Bank of America higher-up. Yeah, that's really going to help too. What sort of hero threatens to release an info bomb if he gets arrested. What ever happened to standing behind your beliefs?

God knows what other information he has that when released will cause chaos. And how long before he crosses someone that you, the reader, care about? No one is off limits to this guy. He has not showed a shred of restraint. (Something, by the way, an actual journalist has.)

He's not a hero, he's the Joker. In reality, he's an ex-hacker who wants to see the world burn.
