Rec meme! You ask for recs, and others provide (or fill!).

Maybe there's something you'd really like to see but you can't find it. Why not ask for help? It might be out there! Or maybe there's something you really loved reading and you want someone to geek over it with. Why not rec it to someone else? Maybe they'll love it too! Who knows, someone out there might be looking for something that sounds exactly like someone you know just created.

Don't feel bad about reccing your own stuff, either. Apparently someone else wants to see it, right?

First of all, I'd just like to throw out a general "WHERE IS THE FANDOM?" I used to be more active in fandom but I just sorta tapered off, and now that I want to participate again I have no idea where to start. :/

Preferred Medium: anything, I don't care. Art, fic, etc...
Preferred Genre: Humor and silly things are my favorite, but I sometimes like non-sappy romance and gen as well.

Fandom: Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Characters/Pairings: The whole Scooby gang in general, or Buffy-, Xander-, Anya-, Spike-, and/or Giles-centric. For pairings--Anya/Xander and Buffy/Spike.

Fandom: Avatar the Last Airbender
Characters/Pairings: Any members of the Gaang, but especially Toph and Sokka. For pairings--Toph/Sokka, Toph/pretty-much-anyone-else-if-you-can-write/draw-it-convincingly.

Fandom: Invader Zim
Characters/Pairings: Zim, Gir, and Dib. Doin' stuff. Pretty much anything other than being shipped with each other.

Fandom: Pirates of the Caribbean
Characters/Pairings: For characters--pretty much anyone, but especially Jack. For pairings--anything well-written or well-drawn.

Fandom: BATMANNN...as in the Dini/Timm B:tAS and Mad Love versions
Characters/Pairings: the Joker and Harley Quinn, yo.

Oh, and BEATLES! Anything that's non-shippy. :>

For Pirates of the Caribbean, there’s a fabulous Will/Jack fic series called Contradictions by Veronica Rich which starts here: http://veronica.undevout.com/contradictions01.shtml. AU fic, breaking off from the first movie's events immediately after Barbossa's defeat and death in the caves of Isla de Muerta. It's about eight months later.

For Avatar:
