PANFANDOM REC MEME

"I ship it!"
"I want fic!"
"I want art!"
"I don't care what it is, but I want it!"
"Where's the fandom?"

Rec meme! You ask for recs, and others provide (or fill!).

Maybe there's something you'd really like to see but you can't find it. Why not ask for help? It might be out there! Or maybe there's something you really loved reading and you want someone to geek over it with. Why not rec it to someone else? Maybe they'll love it too! Who knows, someone out there might be looking for something that sounds exactly like someone you know just created.

Don't feel bad about reccing your own stuff, either. Apparently someone else wants to see it, right?

OBLIGATORY TEXTBOX (optional, dont worry):

What made you laugh?
What made you cry?

ohmygodtwinsies

Yeah, that's pretty much how I feel. I like Ten alright, but he wasn't OMGBRILLIANT, and most of my love for him and Rose (and then together) perished with the fandom.

But Two! Ahhh he's so lovely. At least there's one thing to be said for little fandoms like Two/Jamie: the writers and artists tend to be better on the whole, because they actually care, and go out of their way to gather source material.

Put it this way: Ten/Rose shippers can just dip into the dressing with a carrot stick at any ole party any day of the year and they've got all they need there to make anyone reasonably happy. Two/Jamie shippers have got to go all out and bake a goddamn souffle, using a cookbook written by someone's ESL grandmother - it's harder to make it good, so it's rarer, but egads it's worth it.

Or something like that. /lalala food metaphors

And don't worry, man, I love them teal deers. I'm all for talking and talking and talking about things (especially when those things are Doctor Who).

I'm wacky with my metaphors whenever possible. :3

Also, just did to you. So. Ha.

Oh man. I can just go on and on forever about Who. Between my older sister (author of a truly ridiculous amount of fanfic, and creator, at eight year's old, of a K-9 halloween costume), and my girlfriend (whom I actually met do to Doctor Who), and my best friend (cosplays Rose and is not an irritating Ten fangirl), I have a truly absurd amount of things to process and say about it.

Not to mention that my sister owns like, well, I'm not sure how many exactly, but let's just say that if you were to stack all of her classic who DVDs on top of one another, it'd probably go up about three and a half feet, more if you added her home-taped VHS and her New Series and Torchwood and SJA. Her collection is truly remarkable and somewhat intimidating.

Uh
