I've never gotten people being embarrassed or afraid to go to movies alone. I mean you're just sitting a dark room not talking to people for 2 hours--it's very much the same experience whether you go with somebody or not. A lot of the time I prefer to go alone because everybody I know chews really loudly and I want to kill them when they eat popcorn.

ANYWAY Tron is such a theater movie! You see to see it while it's still playing--go alone if you have to!
