It's like a kink, only... not. It's what I like and prefer. Not as complicated as you might think.

It's what I find beautiful, thus, I know I'm attracted to guys who walk in heels and girls who wear suits.

You could say that of anyone. But that's like saying you don't like a certain food if you haven't tried it, and you won't try it if you don't know if you'll like it. See the problem?

Or you just like soft, "feminine" facial features in men? And skinny bodytypes?
How do you feel about RL women btw? Do they turn you on? Could you imagine being in a (sexual) relationship with a woman?
Or is it just the stylized, "feminine" look of anime guys? Because if it's the latter you probably just like how they're drawn, their aesthetics.

It's kind of weird, it almost seems to me (when I think about it) that my ideal partner would be an androgynous person. Neither a male, nor a female. Not too male, not too female. Golden middle. :) I really like to see the mix of genders like that, and psychologically, too, I have a couple friends who identify as bigender, I find out I feel comfortable around them, we share pretty much the same outlook. Mind you, I'm not sure it's really a gender thing, just my observations.

The people I've met who faun over pretty anime boys are straight girls. Why do you think yaoi manga/anime have guys that look so much like females? Girls like looking at them.

Men come in all shapes and sizes, OP, don't worry about it too much.

Though I'm often surprised when such a yaoi lover shows a pic of her boyfriend, and he is nothing like an anime boy. I mean, but how? If she has a type.

I knew two girls like that. One said she had a "fictional type" and a "real people" type. And the other girl said she likes looking at yaoi but in real life honestly just cared about the guy's personality, looks were kind of an afterthought.

I've often liked "girlie" boys not just in manga, but in r/l too. While it can get you worried, it doesn't necessarily mean you'll cross over to girls...if probably just means you like a certain type of guy. And if you do end up liking girls...that's not the end of the world, either.

I'm not worried that I might be liking girls, I'd say in some ways it might be more convenient (no preg!worries, like, ever). I'm just confused as to what my type is, because IRL I pretty much never find other people sexually attractive.

I don't know how old you are, of course, but maybe you are just at the stage of figuring it out, and there's nothing wrong with that, either.
And it's possible to have more than one "type".

Most of the guys I like in anime are pretty as well. This concerns pops up for me once and a while, but it's not a big deal to me. If you think there's something else going on, then maybe you should check that out.
