Trying to write Near as dominating was met with a lot of 'n_n' but Mello tops!' and then having to endure comments about how wrong it was for me to put Near/Mello because the proper way to tag a fic should be with the one who tops. Every time I wrote a fic for the couple, I dreaded she reading it and putting her passive aggressive '^^;; but it's not like that, ne?'
Making lot of noise is NOT the same as doing much for a couple. I pretty much stopped writing for Death Note since I couldn't deal anymore with that kind of bull.

(Anonymous) 2011-01-17 01:18 am (UTC)(link)Anything that didn't follow her moe moe seme/uke dynamic shit was a horrible, insulting, disgusting thing in her mind, and had to be banned from existance because it made her eyes bleed. She created a horrible, hostile environment because she'd constantly rant if people OH MY GOD dared to label a fic with Near topping as "Mello/Near" because in Japan, you have to put the one who tops first. She'd hate on anyone who liked the anime, she'd hate on anyone who didn't think Near shat rainbows, etcetc.
