Rand would hate on anyone who didn't follow every aspect of her philosophy to the letter. She thought they were stealing her ideas and muddying them up with their own.

Libertarianism and modern Objectivism match up almost point for point. But I shouldn't have assumed OP was that kind of Libertarian, especially since he/she linked it closely to conservatism.
