I felt the same way for a long time; you're not alone. You're right in that if you told some people, they'd think something's wrong with you - I get that a lot, myself. But they're just saying that out of ignorance because they can't get their heads around the idea that some people just don't want to have sex. It's too foreign a concept for some people to handle, I guess. The important thing is to stick to your guns and don't do anything you're not comfortable with, just because people think you ought to. What does being transgendered have to do with whether or not you can identify with a character? Because of his name? Because he's male and you were born biologically female? Idgi. I'm ftm and I've identified with a female character for over half my life, big deal, it doesn't make me less of a guy for it, nobody questions me on it. Because her gender has nothing to do with it. If people would really get on your case over identifying with a ~boy~ that much, you need to hang out with different people.
