I'd say she was the best and most interesting character in the film, but not the best thing about the film. While Inception has some fun characters, the heart of the movie, to me, is the concept and not the people.

Yes, loved her character so much. That scenes where Ariadne and Cobb are escape up the elevator and the looks she gives them... just a flawless wonderful actress.

I like to believe Mal was right all along. Except I also like to believe Arthur/Ariadne/Eames/Saito/etc were real people. I'm trying to work out a theory to make it fit.

Personally I thought the best thing about Inception was the wardrobe.
