My favorite Goosebumps were the pick your own path ones. I used to spend hours strategizing the best path and bookmarking my place so I could re-do something if I ended up dying. So much fun. (The wax museum was my favorite)

The show was great too. I remember the one in the school with the aliens legitimately scared the shit out of me. The one where you ate the chocolate chippy thing and then turned into one of the aliens... fff-

I used to like the 'Give Yourself Goosebumps!' books. :3 I think I always bookmarked constantly as well. I was so indecisive.
I also think I used to go through and read all the endings to see all the ways you could die. xD

Same here, OP. I used to adore everything Goosebumps. <3 I especially loved the books, but I did like the show, too.

Does anyone remember the episode where two siblings find out they're really royalty from the past or something? I think that episode fueled my incest obsession. I remember watching and going, "aw, they're so cute together!" Thanks, goosebumps. XD

OMG! I loved that episode! And they were sentenced to hang/beheaded/something. At one point the younger brother said "Fastest hands in all Britannia" AND I HAVE NEVER FORGOTTEN! Lol, <3 goosebumps :D

Has anyone reread these as an adult? I work in a bookstore and see them everyday and I often think about rereading them, but I'm afraid it will ruin it. Some things just aren't as good when you go back and read/watch them as an adult. (On a related note, I recently rewatched some episodes of Are You Afraid of the Dark? and it was still awesome.)

I found my old Goosebumps books a few months back and started reading them again, and yep, they're as good as I remember. And it's all so 90s...gave me the biggest nostalgia blast.

Interesting thing is, the first ten books have finally been translated into Japanese (complete with new insert illustration. Not anime style, but very scary, Japanese horror movie type drawings) and my sixth grade girls are completely crazy over them. It's really cool to talk to kids about a book I read when I was their age.
