We had basically no unemployment, there were nearly no homeless people and health care was good and affordable (We had to pay for that with the loss of freedom, but sometimes I wonder if it wouldn't be better if the revolutions never happened).
Well, after 89 conservatives came to power because people thought that changing direction by 180° would be the best idea. And you know what happened to my country after conservatives basically running it for 20 years? The unemployment rose to over 10%, health care is slowly becoming unaffordable, they sold state business to private companies, state deficit rose by multiples and our army basically became something what just looks pretty on pictures. Our crime rate rose, but police forces are forced to sack hundreds of their employees every year.
Yeah. It's not causing me any harm at all. I have nearly no protection from police, our army won't be able to protect us from invasive force, my tax money are used to pay a deficit and don't go into something useful like supporting health care or education, I can't afford more than half procedures I'll probably need during my life, if I lose my job I'll most likely won't find another.
Yeah. Conservatives are so good for the country. They support the rich but middle class and the poor and sick can go f*** themselves. And judging by what I see happening in USA yours are not much better.
