I don't know who she is or what fandom this is, but I'd think that the current trend that asian women seem to be following of you know... gluing their eyelids/getting surgery (and wearing contacts) to look less asian/more western would be more offensive because they are basically saying they dislike how they look?

For the record, I don't think either is offensive, people will do what they want and that doesn't bother me at all. This comment was just food for thought.
