I don't know who she is or what fandom this is, but I'd think that the current trend that asian women seem to be following of you know... gluing their eyelids/getting surgery (and wearing contacts) to look less asian/more western would be more offensive because they are basically saying they dislike how they look?

For the record, I don't think either is offensive, people will do what they want and that doesn't bother me at all. This comment was just food for thought.

I don't know, anon. Most Asian video game characters, as well as video game character of other races, have huge breasts. Her eye's aren't as "slanty" as you say they are. She's designed with heavy eyeliner that exaggerate her features. Honestly, as an Asian woman, I don't find her offensive at all. I feel like you're trying to defy stereotypes by bashing characteristics seen in other Asian woman, or in this case, a fictional character. I have seen real women with her features. Can't we just accept that we all come in different shapes and forms?

If her surname is anything to go by she's probably only partially Asian. And anyways, her body type wasn't really to say "hey, we can make realistic Asians!", it was more "if your job is running like crazy you're probably going to be really lean and wear actually clothes".

Also, breasts are made of fatty tissue, so a character with a highly active lifestyle wouldn't have enough body fat for large breasts. You know, like an illegal marathon parkour mail delivery girl?

People who use their upper-body muscles constantly tend to have a smaller chest. I know, shocking. And people with high, prominent cheekbones tend to have slanted eyes more often than not - that coupled with the fact that she's of Asian heritage? DUN DUN DUNNNN

And if they didn't give her more prominent eyes and a huge chest, then people would have complained about them basically trying to make her too appealing to gamers, and to for the lack of a better term, "whitewash" her and make her "less" blatantly Asian to appeal to a Western audience or something.

I'm sorry you don't feel she's an accurate representation of Asian women, that's fine, but every other video game character isn't necessarily a perfect representation of the race or culture she's from either.

The fact she's actually clearly ethnic and has small breasts is kind of a big deal for a video game character; usually they're not either.

You're also being offensive to Asian women who do have eyes like that and small chests. Guess what? Not every one looks like you, and they don't all look the same, so get over yourself Anon.
