*hugs* I'm sorry you were made to feel like that. I think a large part of the problem is that the character of Kurt is basically a self-insert for Ryan Murphy, and as far as he and the writers are concerned, Kurt is every gay man's role model. Or should be :/

I hope that you're able to find a group of friends who accept you for exactly who you are and not who they think you should be.

Right now Kurt's a self insert that's half Ryan Murphy and half Chris Colfer and IA that it doesn't help that they both think every gay teen looks up to Kurt. I think it's great that some of them can use him as a role model, but it's also arrogant of them to assume that every gay man out there idolizes Kurt. I don't even think every gay kid who's bullied is going to find strength in his storyline. I know I wouldn't have at that age and I was bullied pretty intensely.
