ITA that not taking it seriously for the most part is the way to go, but come on, those kids bully Rachel like crazy and we're supposed to shrug it off or think it's funny. That's insane. I like Kurt most of the time and utterly adore Colfer, but I actually think it's somewhat harmful for the message to be "WE HAVE TO STOP THE BULLYING OF GAY KIDS!!!! and maybe some other kids too or whatever." I feel like it encourages the stereotype of gays playing the victim or whatever and doesn't send a strong message about cruelty in all forms.

I really don't like Rachel but I wish more than anything that they addressed that issue too.
That bullying can also be psychological and as hurtful as the physical one.
But no, it's like they're saying "Well, Rachel DESERVES it" D:!
No, show, that's soo wrong: NO ONE deserves it.
