10) I get upset when he wins because he always wins. What happened to character development? The "striving to be the best" theme that sports manga series has going on? For Echizen, there is no such thing because he kept winning from the beginning. The people who were able to defeat him I can count with one hand... And he defeats those people later on anyway. It's hard to sympathize with this character. Isn't losing = learning?

27) Of course it's appropriate to use a picture of a white person as a pb for a character with a Japanese name. IAWTS.
