it might be because rl bigots will say that about a whole crowd of ethnic dudes. some of the wank over in my fandoms, when the racism thing went out, mentioned being one of two black girls in a school kept getting called by the name of the other, despite not looking alike.

PPL, 4 REALZ. They're nuts.
