It's a pretty good book and I enjoyed it, but the way Nurse Ratchet was characterized really rubbed me the wrong way. I guess it makes sense considering you're getting all of this from the perspective of the men in the ward, but it felt a tad misogynist to me. Like Nurse Ratchet wasn't just a villain because she was an asshole who treated grown men like children, it was because she was a woman in a position of power
