(Anonymous) 2011-02-07 01:36 am (UTC)(link)When I was in junior high, I sat really close to this guy in one of my science classes, and he was kind of a friendly guy, so we talked a bit. The teacher--I'm not sure why--asked if he was my "boo" at one point, but I didn't hear him clearly; I thought he said "book." So, instead of answering, I started looking around for this phantom book in the conversation, completely ignoring the fact that the teacher and guy-I-sat-next-to kept waiting for me to answer. :)
Now every time I hear "boo" used to describe a person, it just makes me laugh. :DDDD
