ohmygod, I seriously love that novel. I love it so much my dad got me the Folio Society edition which is so beautiful I fear damaging it, the state my paperbacks get into pains me. But just seeing the secret makes me want to read it again. I haven't read it as many times as you have, but... gah, I'm seriously having to stop myself running upstairs to find my copy.

2. She's the sort of character you either love or hate. I think she's one of the more interesting SEED females, myself.

20. She was kinda a mary-sue from the beginning IMO. D: She got a lot better when she became spunkier in 2 though, so I have to see 3 and see what you're talking about.

24. GIRL FROM GUMP! \o/ Do you mean the actress or the character? I have no clue who the actress is or what happened to her, but the character was okay...she grew up weird, but was somewhat realistic in the movie. I didn't especially like her 'til the end (...).

2. I watched a bit of that show a long time ago. Couldn't stand her either, but she got better at the end. I don't think she was meant to be liked until that point, really.

20. That's weird, because I don't have a high level of tolerance for female lead characters and yet I adore Elizabeth. And yes, I have seen the 3rd movie, and I love her in that, too. I mean, she isn't my favorite, but I still like her, which is pretty amazing for me. XD But I guess female characters are always going to get hated on.

7. You aren't alone!! I think every girl I know loves Renge. It's just not that hard to relate to her. Also, one of the best female characters ever!

11. Wow, I haven't seen anything like that. Actually, what I most see is EVERY RANDOM MALE that was obviouslty straight (as in 'had a girlfriend') turning gay and NOBODY cares. The authors don't even bother coming up with a excuse for that womanizer guy who used to go all 'booobies' dating a male character. I understand whatyou said in your secret, pointless angst is also no-good, but I think the opposite is more common (obviously we are in different fandoms, but... XD)

20. I actually liked Elizabeth a hell of a lot better in AWE then I did previously, where she didn't really ping my radar at all. I'm not getting the "Mary Sue" thing from her (I get it mostly from Jack, hahaha).
