Same. Plus I disliked most of the cast on top of being bored with the plot.

Yeah, same for me. That kind of story-line didn't feel very 'Final Fantasy' to me. I didn't care for all of those long drawn out dialogues about politics. Not to mention there was too little character development, what was the point of Vaan and Penelo? Except for Fran and Balthier the rest are easily forgettable to me.
