I dunno, I really like this show. At first I was like "it's just okay", but by the end, I started really really liking it, mostly because of how, as the series progresses, there's some questions raised about who are the real monsters in the equation: the shiki who kill humans (some of whom enjoy doing so) because it's the only way they can survive when suffering from hunger (and a good number of them don't even want to do this or like hurting people like Tohru, Ritsuko, or poor Kaori's dad) and live in constant darkness and even paranoia of being caught and killed, or the humans who suffer from both their loved ones dying from the shiki and eventually having to kill their loved ones over again when they become shiki, some of those humans even stooping low enough to kill poor unsuspecting people that were brainwashed or labeled as "collaborators" with the shiki whether they really were or not.

As for Megumi, I like her a little, but she's not my favorite character by far since she does kind of enjoy making people miserable when she becomes a shiki. >_>
