I love fanfiction. I don't care how old it is and what universe of fandom you are writing for, if I read it and like it, I'd probably review and spread it around. I do it out of respect, because I imagine it warms someone's heart to have someone review their work, which I'm sure they've labored over for a long time. I know that if I wrote anything, it would warm my heart.
But I love finding old, good fics. I love reading them. And I'd feel very sorry if they were gone. I understand your need to grow, but why must your old works be deleted? Isn't there a possibility to disable reviews or just ask nicely "hey, ppl, don't review, k?"
If I see someone specifically asking not to review, I'd not review.
I know it's a bit selfish, but I'm asking you to reconsider. Not because those are the greatest things you'd ever achieve, but because someone out there probably love you fics as much as I love the ones I find, and doesn't want them gone, either.
